Touching Lives Through Teaching: Ministry of Education Presents the Overseas Taiwan School Model Teacher Award

The Ministry of Education hosted the “2024 Overseas Taiwan School and Taiwan Business People School in the Mainland Area Model Teacher Award” ceremony on December 5, 2024, at the Chinese Taipei School Kuala Lumpur. Congratulations to the seven teachers who are awarded this year!

The Model Teacher Award was established by the Ministry of Education to promote professional growth, teamwork, innovation, and adaptive guidance among teachers at overseas Taiwan schools and Taiwan business people schools in the Mainland Area. The award aims to set a role model for quality teaching, inspire dedication, and improve teaching quality.

Distinguished guests at the ceremony included Dr Joyce Lee, Yu-Jiuan, Director-General of the Department of International and Cross-strait Education of the Ministry of Education, Mr James Buu, Deputy Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Malaysia, Ms Tsai Hsin Tien, Vice President of Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Malaysia and the leaders from four overseas Taiwan schools.
