Representative Phoebe Yeh attended the 2025 Chinese Taipei School Kuala Lumpur New Year Flag Raising Ceremony and School Fair

Representative Phoebe Yeh and colleagues from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia extended warm New Year greetings to everyone at the 2025 Chinese Taipei School Kuala Lumpur New Year Flag Raising Ceremony and School Fair. The event was hosted by Mr. Lin Young Chang, Chair of the Board, and Ms. Cheng Ya Fen, the Principal on January 1, 2025.

In her remarks, Representative Yeh emphasized that Malaysia has always been Taiwan's close partner in various fields like trade, investment, education, tourism, culture, agriculture and health care. Taiwan is Malaysia’s 5th largest trade partner in 2023 and for years has been the 8th largest source of FDI for Malaysia. Representative Yeh also affirmed the effort of the school in promoting high-quality Taiwanese education overseas, and the contribution in nurturing talents.

The dignitaries included the school board of directors, Ms. Tsai Mei Ling, chair of Parent Committee of Chinese Taipei School, and the representatives of the Federation of Malaysian Alumni Associations of Taiwan Universities, Global Federation of Chinese Business Women Kuala Lumpur Chapter, and Formosa Women Organisation of Malaysia.
