Requirements for Business Visa Application
The R.O.C.(Taiwan) reserves the right not to issue a visa and is under no obligation to disclose the reasons.

2 | Reservation of Interview and Submission |
All applicants are required to make reservation by email ( E-mail: roctmtaiwan@yahoo.com). After reservation is completed and an email confirmation received, applicants may visit Taipei Trade Office in Nigeria at the assigned time slot with all requirements ready and submit directly at the visa counter. Only Counter Application is acceptable. No Mail-in Application. |

4 | Payment | Visitor visa: single entry $50Pay exact USD Cash at the visa counter. Payment is non-refundable even if visa is refused. Note that the USD note should be from year 2013 and above and any form of tear, stamp would not be accepted. |

1.Documents from applicant’s guarantor in the ROC (Taiwan): (1) Invitation letter written by the Guarantor(inviter) in Taiwan both in English and Chinese must include a short description of applicant’s business dealings with the guarantor. The invitation letter is only valid for three month, after which, it must be updated by the guarantor. (2) Copy of Guarantor’s Taiwanese ID card (both front and back of the card). (3) Guarantee Form (prepared by the guarantor in Taiwan.) (4)The guarantor in Taiwan is to apply for the visa application approval at the Bureau of Consular Affairs (BOCA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan. If application is approved, a v-number or approval letter will be issued and applicant is to submit this letter, along with other documents stated below. BOCA will inform Taipei Trade Office in Nigeria of the approval accordingly. 2. Applicant’s personal documents: (1) Passport must be valid for at least 1 year on the date of application. Both current and expired passports are required. (2) Two white background passport-sized(the head size should be within 2.5-3.2cm) photographs taken in six months. (3) Duly completed Visa application online (This is to be printed out) (4) Personal bank statement reflecting salary payments (covering a period of 6 months). (5) Either confirmed return ticket or booking of the trip (6) Original marriage certificate and the copies of birth certificate of children.(If applicant is married with children) (7)Curriculum Vitae(CV) of applicant (including emergency contact and address) 3. Applicant’s company documents: (1) A letter of Introduction from applicant’s company signed by the executive chairman or the managing director. (2) Certificate of Incorporation/Certificate of Registration. (3) Memorandum and Articles of Association and Form C07. (4) Income Tax Clearance for the past three years issued by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). (5) Current company bank statement covering a period of six months signed by the bank branch manager. (6) Correspondence between the applicant’s company and counterpart in Taiwan, invoices, receipts, letters of credit or any other evidence of money remittance. (7) All relevant corroborative documents to prove that the applicant is doing business in Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and/or other countries.

Visa processing time may differ from case to case. |
7 | Policy on Appointment NO-SHOWS | Applicant should note that scheduled appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled in 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment date and time. Applicants who fail to arrive for a scheduled appointment without cancellation/rescheduling his/her appointment would be considered as "no-show".
If an applicant has a no-show for an appointment more than one time, no further appointment would be scheduled for the applicant. |
