Requirements for International Conference Visa Application
The R.O.C.(Taiwan) reserves the right not to issue a visa and is under no obligation to disclose the reasons.
1.Passport must be valid at least 1 year on the date of application. (Old and New passport should be provided)
2.Dully completed electronic application form with two white background passport photographs .
3.Invitation letter (Chinese and English version) inviting you to attend a conference in Taiwan.
4.One of the organizers’ Taiwanese ID card (both front and back) is required from the applicant along with a properly filled guarantor's form
5.An Introduction letter from the applicant’s institution signed by either the registrar, the Dean of the faculty, the Vice Chancellor or the Head of Department, Managing Director of the company.
6.Letter of Employment.
7.Updated Resume(including emergency contact and address)
8. Original and Photocopy of credentials.
9.Personal bank statement reflecting salary payment from the institution or place of work. (for a period of six months)
10.Evidence of salary payment.
11.Marriage certificate if married, birth certificate of children if married with children.
12.Either confirmed return ticket or booking of the trip
13.Birth Certificate.
14.Visa fee of $50 (payments are made in USD cash. Note that any form of tear, stamp or writing would not be accepted. The issue year should be from 2013 and above)
Applicant should note that scheduled appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled in 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment date and time. Applicants who fail to arrive for a scheduled appointment without cancellation/rescheduling his/her appointment would be considered as "no-show".
If an applicant has a no-show for an appointment more than one time, no further appointment would be scheduled for the applicant.

All submitted documents are strictly reviewed and verified. Forged and tampered documents leads to visa application rejection and RE-APPLICATION IS NOT ALLOWED.Applicants are required to submit and collect documents in person. No agent is allowed.
