- Wellington office:
- Process applications from lower North Island (south of Taupo), South Island, Cook Islands and Niue.
- Auckland office:
- Process applications from upper North Island (Taupo and north of Taupo) and French Polynesia (Tahiti).
- Office hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (excluding public holidays)
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Passport
- Please provide a copy of a valid passport which has been verified by Notary Public by indicating “This is a true copy of the original”.
- Application form for authentication
- Applicant must submit a COMPLETED application form.
- Please do not leave any blank spaces. If a question does not apply, please write “NONE”.
- Incomplete or improperly completed application forms will be returned UNPROCESSED.
- Fees
- NZ$26.00 per document
- An additional 50% of application fee will be charged for express service. (One working day)

- Internet banking (details will be provided after receiving the required documents).
- Cash payment can only be made at the reception.
- Return Postage
- Applying within NZ by post: Please enclose a pre-paid and self-addressed envelope or a courier bag.
- Applying outside NZ: Please arrange DHL pick up the document from our office.
DURATION
The processing of a completed application usually takes 3 working days. However, a maximum period up to TWO months might be expected if documents involved should be confirmed by a third authority.
