The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New Zealand (TECO) represents the Taiwan Government in New Zealand.
We’re seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented assistant for our Economic Division to provide administrative assistance in (1) Trade promotion related activities including but not limited to trade shows promotions in Taiwan and business matching workshops; (2) Bilateral commercial inquiries and as a customer facing contact point; (3) Logistic in trade related business networking activities; (4) Logistic for incoming trade related visiting groups; (5) Management of trade and company database; (6) Other ad hoc and general day-to-day duties as required.
This is a full-time position at entry level and you’ll be working at our office located at Majestic Centre, Wellington Central.
You’ll need to be a university graduate at least with excellent communication, organizational and social skills; good working attitude and good command of Microsoft Office. You must be fluent in English, preferable that you can understand and write traditional Chinese.
You’ll be working in a challenging but interesting environment, providing day-to-day office administrative tasks. You will need to drive from time to time, and be willing to take other reasonable assigned job.
Your working hour will be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The first 3 months of employment will be a trial period.
