Director General Kendra Chen Attends Taiwanese Women's Association of New Zealand (TWANZ) Annual Celebration and Eco-friendly Vegetarian Feast

On June 22nd, the Taiwanese Women's Association of New Zealand (TWANZ) held its "12th General Assembly, 24th Anniversary Celebration, and Eco-friendly Vegetarian Feast." During the event, Senior Adviser of Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) and founding president of the association, Ms. Chen Tzu-ying, was elected as the acting president. Director General Kendra Chen of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Auckland, along with Division Director of OCAC Chiou Ya-fen, attended the event upon invitation. Director General Kendra Chen commended the TWANZ for its continuous efforts in organizing public welfare activities such as cooking for the Ronald McDonald House, donating supplies, and hosting eco-friendly vegetarian feasts, all of which help enhance the positive image of the Taiwanese immigrant community. She also extended her best wishes for the association's sustainable development under the leadership of the new team.
