The Taiwanese Hwa Hsia Society of New Zealand held the "2024 National Day Cup Golf Friendship Tournament" at Maungakiekie Golf Club on 7th October, starting at 10:30 AM. After the flag-raising ceremony, Director General Kendra Chen from the TECO in Auckland teed off, and over 40 players of all ages were divided into four groups to compete. After a day of intense competition, an awards dinner was held at 5:30 PM. Director General Kendra Chen and the participants expressed their gratitude to Chairman Chen and the supervisory team of the Taiwanese Hwa Hsia Society of New Zealand for organizing this event in recent years, allowing many longtime friends to gather in October and celebrate the nation's birthday through sports and fitness.
