The Taiwanese Business Association of New Zealand (TBANZ) hosted a exchange banquet ("Economic Trade between Taiwan and New Zealand – Current Situation and Prospects") on the evening of 21 October to welcome the 16-member delegation from CIECA. The delegation members actively interacted with Taiwanese business representatives in Auckland. Director General Chen was invited to attend and delivered a speech praising the CIECA and the TBANZ for their active participation in Taiwan-New Zealand economic collaboration. She emphasized the importance of promoting the "Five Trusted Industry Sectors" to position Taiwan as an "Economic Rising Sun." The delegation members introduced Taiwan's industrial advantages and engaged enthusiastically with TBANZ members to discuss business opportunities and cooperation.
