Director General Kendra Chen attended the 46th Veterans' Day Celebration hosted by the R.O.C. Veterans Association in New Zealand

The event took place on November 7th at a North Shore restaurant in Auckland. Director General Kendra Chen expressed gratitude to all the honorary citizens for their service in the military during their youth, defending the nation. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Veterans Affairs Council (VAC), and both the VAC and Veterans' Day are unique institutions and holidays that symbolize the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan)'s appreciation and recognition. Director General Chen also thanked the Veterans Association for frequently organizing activities that unite its members and support the office's work. She wished all veterans, their families, and loved ones peace, health, and a happy Veterans' Day!
