On the evening of December 3rd, China Airlines' New Zealand branch held a celebration at Auckland International Airport for the launch of its seasonal "Auckland - Melbourne - Taipei" route. Director General Kendra Chen, along with Secretary Tsao Chunfang, attended the event. In addition to the General Manager of China Airlines New Zealand, Jim Wong, other attendees included Auckland International Airport's General Manager of Commercial Aviation, Scott Tasker, industry representatives, and Council Member of Overseas Compatriot Affairs Council , Jerry Shih. In her speech, Director General Chen expressed her congratulations on the launch of the new route, noting that with this new service, the frequency of flights between Auckland and Taipei will increase from 5 in and 5 out per week to 10 in and 10 out. She congratulated China Airlines on its continued expansion of international business, Taiwan's strengthened role as a regional aviation hub, and the ongoing enhancement of exchanges between Taiwan and New Zealand.
