TECO in Auckland attended and supported the Taiwanese Women's Association of New Zealand Christmas Charity Donation and the 2024 Third Volunteering Cooking Event

The Taiwanese Women's Association of New Zealand gathered the love and support of its members and the overseas Taiwanese community to hold a Christmas charity donation event at Ronald McDonald House on December 11th at 2:00 PM. Director General Kendra Chen and Division Director for Overseas Community Affairs Council Chiu Ya-fen from the TECO in Auckland participated in the event. The hospital expressed gratitude for the long-standing donations from the Taiwanese community, while Director General Chen delivered a speech praising the Taiwanese Women's Association of New Zealand's charitable efforts and how they strengthen the friendship between Taiwan and New Zealand. Following the ceremony, the third volunteer cooking event of the year took place. All volunteers worked together to prepare the meals within three hours, allowing the children in the hospital and their families to once again experience the love and warmth from the Taiwanese community abroad.
