TECO in Auckland attended the New Year's Day Flag Raising Ceremony in Hamilton and conducted consular services

The New Zealand Chinese Sunshine Society in Hamilton held a New Year's Day Flag Raising Ceremony on the morning of January 1st, 2025. Deputy Director General Eric Liao and Secretary Shawn Yeh of the TECO in Auckland were invited to attend. In his speech, Deputy Director General Liao expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic participation of the overseas compatriots community in the ceremony and reviewed the political and economic achievements of Taiwan over the past year. He looked forward to closer ties between Taiwan and New Zealand in the new year, with the continued support of the overseas compatriots community in New Zealand. After the ceremony, the office provided mobile consular services and consul consultations. Approximately 50 people participated in the entire event.
