Director General Kendra Chen and the Fo Guang people gather for a year-end reunion and New Year’s blessings

The annual "Year-End Reunion and Fellowship" event of Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple New Zealand (FGS NZ) was held on the evening of January 18, 2025. Director General Kendra Chen of the TECO in Auckland and Overseas Community Affairs Assistant Director Shannon Wang were invited to attend, joining over a hundred Fo Guang people in expressing gratitude for the past year and joyfully welcoming the new one. In her speech, Director General Chen praised Fo Guang Shan for its dedicated promotion of Humanistic Buddhism, bringing peace of mind and strength for progress to its followers. Abbess Manshin led the attendees in chanting and prayers for blessings, and shared Master Hsing Yun’s New Year’s message, "There is a road ahead, and the light is within sight," wishing everyone peace and good fortune in the coming year.
