Taiwan donated medical equipment to Palau to enhanced anti-epidemic capabilities of Palau

Ambassador Jessica C. Lee, on behalf of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan), donated three "High Flow Nasal Cannula" (HFNC) to Belau National Hospital in the donation ceremony jointly held by Taiwan and Palau on the afternoon of October 20th. The HFNCs will improve the ability of effectively manage, increase the survival rate of pneumonia patients, and, importantly, strengthen Palau's own epidemic prevention capabilities.
President Surangel S. Whipps, Jr. led the official team from Ministry of Health and Human Services and the MHHS Emergency Operation Center to accept the medical equipment. They once again thank Taiwan for continuously assisting Palau to improve its anti-epidemic capabilities during the epidemic.
With the COVID-19 pandemic raging around the world, Taiwan continues to assist Palau, the country of brothers, with concrete actions. Taiwan is keep assisting Palau to strengthen its medical capabilities in order to maintain the health of the people of Palau, and to implement the solid friendship between Taiwan and Palau to walk hand in hand.
