Offering language study opportunities for Mandarin Chinese and Taiwan’s culture at university or college-affiliated Mandarin training centers in Taiwan. This program also aims to help scholarship recipients acquire a better command of Mandarin Chinese, hence a greater understanding and appreciation of Taiwan’s culture and society.

Applicants are advised to browse the above websites for information about eligibility, application procedure, scholarship benefits, award period, partner universities, and their individual application deadlines. After completing on-line application for one program of his/her choice with a certain university, the applicant must print out and sign the application form, and then deliver it, together with supporting documents to certify that he/she has applied to an educational institution, such as photocopies of the application fee receipts, the application form and a note of reply or email from the education institution and copies of passport, to this Office before 15 March 2025.
