In response to the postponement of President Lai Ching-te’s planned visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini due to pressure from China, this action not only undermines the regional security status quo, but also deeply hurts the feelings of the people of Taiwan.

針對我賴清德總統出訪友邦史瓦帝尼王國因中國打壓而暫緩一事，此舉不但破壞區域安全現狀，更傷害了台灣人民的情感。國際社會應正視中國為打壓我國際空間而干預民航運作、危及飛航安全與區域安全之行徑，共同維護全球飛航安全不受政治脅迫之國際秩序。

In response to the postponement of President Lai Ching-te’s planned visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini due to pressure from China, this action not only undermines the regional security status quo, but also deeply hurts the feelings of the people of Taiwan. The international community should take seriously China’s interference in civil aviation operations aimed at suppressing Taiwan’s international space, those actions that already jeopardize flight safety and regional stability. The international community should work together to uphold an international order in which global aviation safety is free from political coercion.

في أعقاب تأجيل الزيارة المقررة لفخامة الرئيس لاي تشينغ تي إلى مملكة إسواتيني نتيجةً للضغوط التي مارستها الصين، فإن هذا الإجراء لا يقتصر على تقويض الوضع القائم للأمن الإقليمي فحسب، بل يُلحق أيضًا ضررًا بالغًا بمشاعر شعب تايوان.

وعلى المجتمع الدولي أن يُولي أهمية بالغة للتدخلات التي تقوم بها الصين في عمليات الطيران المدني بهدف الحد من الحيّز الدولي لتايوان، إذ إن مثل هذه الممارسات تُعرّض سلامة الطيران للخطر وتهدد الاستقرار الإقليمي.

ومن الأهمية بإمكان أن يعمل المجتمع الدولي بشكل جماعي على حماية نظام دولي تُصان فيه سلامة الطيران العالمي من أي إكراه أو تسييس.
