Taiwan’s gift helps enhance English proficiency of pupils of Kozarovce in central Slovakia

The pupils of the Elementary School with Kindergarten in Kozarovce are ranked the best of the English proficiency in the Nitra Region of Slovakia thanks to Taiwan’s equipment gift given by Taipei Representative Office, Bratislav, (TROB) almost four years ago, according to Mr. Jozef Majer, mayor of Kozarovce.
Another equipment gift, two interactive whiteboards and one projector was donated by Amb. Nan-yang Lee, Representative of TROB on Jun 17, 2013 to further facilitate the ICT environment and enhance the interest of the students of the school.
Amb Lee said he was very happy to hear that the gift encouraged the pupils so much and, for the friendship and mutual benefits, he pledged that his office would commit in more cultural and educational cooperation between Taiwan and Slovakia through the channel of Slovak-Taiwanese Parliamentarian Friendship Group.
Slovak-Taiwanese Parliamentarian Friendship Group presided by MP Ivan Štefanec cooperates with the Taipei Representative Office on various projects bringing benefits to schools, hospitals, minority groups in Bratislava and beyond.
