Thomas Chen, the new Republic of China (Taiwan) Ambassador, has already been driving around spoiling himself by sampling such goodies as the Umhlanga dance in Shiselweni, the green landscape and now cannot wait to be part of the sacred Incwala national ceremony. Chen’s good things about Swaziland are many but he seems to have his heart elsewhere,education.
Having heard that he is a man who hits the ground running, we took time to ask Chen to share with us what he is about in this mammoth assignment. Here are excerpts of the interview in his office yesterday.
