With lovely sunshine, Ambassador Jeremy Liang led the team of Taiwanese doctors and nurses, sending warmth to Sandleni in south Eswatini. In total, 474 residents have received free medical attention.
The team provided consultation, medication, ultrasound check-up, cancer screening and health education to the adorable people of Sandleni. “Taiwan-Africa Vegetable Initiative” and “Woman Business Start-Up Microfinance Revolving Fund” also joined to promote low-interest loans and nutrition awareness.
Minister of Sports, Culture & Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima, also the local MP, appreciated Taiwan’s dedication and compassion towards helping those in need. The kind assistance and empowerment will go a long way for the residents. Taiwan has gone rural to serve the needed and will continue to do so.
