Under the guidance of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand (TECO) and Digital Economy Promotion Agency (Depa), Institute for Information Industry(III) and Advantech Thailand Office would like to announce the launch of "Thailand Taiwan AI College" on March 16, 2020. The college aims to strengthen advanced AI learning and development between Thailand and Taiwan to meet the growing demand driven by Thailand industries and to provide experienced experts for trainees to develop competence.
As Dr. Chen-Yuan Tung, Representative of TECO, indicates that this is a promising development and TECO is certain that Taiwan’s unique approach to AI is compatible with “Thailand 4.0”, the foreseeable effect that TTAIC brings on to Thailand could only be optimistic than expectations. TTAIC is the cornerstone of future success.
In the beginning, TTAIC will provide 30 hours of online courses on AI concept introduction for free. The lectures are given by instructors from Taiwan Institute of Information Industry (III) and Advantech Thailand Office. By sharing real cases and appealing to versatile applications on AI, trainees are better led to understand AI concepts and terms like machine learning, deep learning and data science, etc. In addition, this course also covers various fields of themes from industries such as manufacturing, medical, financial and agriculture, etc.
The overall course will be presented on the online platform. The online course thus allows trainees to interact with the instructors instantaneously and acquire real-time coding practice. Meanwhile, instructors can assess and track class reports and even offer feedback immediately.
