Role: The Taipei Representative Office in the UK is seeking an Assistant of Project Management to assist its Cultural Division in implementing and supporting cultural and arts programmes in the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries.
The role involves assisting in event planning and organization, liaising with artists, curators and venues; researching Taiwanese and British cultural affairs; writing press releases; composing and proofreading correspondence; drafting speeches; researching and answering information requests and managing and developing the department’s social media (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, ect) as well as maintaining and producing content for its website Cultural Taiwan UK.
Shortlisted candidates will be invites to take part in an interview (a written test included).
Salary: From £25,764 /per annum (gross)
Location: Victoria, London SW1W
Requirements: The applicants must carry valid visa and work permit of the UK. The successful applicant will have a relevant degree background, e.g. Arts Management, Mass Media & Communications, Creative industry, Taiwan/Asian Studies, etc. The applicants will also possess excellent writing and interpersonal skills; a keen interest in art, culture and international relations, especially relating to Taiwan; experience in social media management. Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese would be a distinct advantage.
