Fernbank Museum showcases Atlanta TECO’s Christmas tree

This year, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office is honored to participate in Fernbank Museum’s “Winter Wonderland” celebration. The exhibit features more than 30 nine-foot-tall trees decorated with different cultural themes. It runs from November 22, 2019 to January 12, 2020.
The theme for TECO’s Christmas tree is to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act and the sister-cityhood between Atlanta and Taipei. TECO celebrates this milestone year with numerous important activities which include: Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je’s visit to Atlanta in March; the Chen Hsi-Hung Traditional Puppet Troupe performances at the Center for Puppetry Arts in June; and the Taipei Symphony Orchestra’s performance at the Rialto Center in November. TECO includes photos of these activities, as well as postcards of significant landmarks of both countries and cities, on its tree.
TECO is proud to be a part of Fernbank’s multicultural exhibition for the 7th time, and extends all best wishes for a happy holiday season.
