On May 10th, we were honored to attend today’s AAPI Issues Summit held in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Director General Wang and the Consul General of Japan served as panelists in the consular affairs session.
Director General Wang introduced our office and highlighted Taiwan’s economic, educational, and cultural cooperation with the southeastern United States, as well as potential future investments by Taiwanese companies in the region. He also explained Taiwan’s position on the Trump administration’s tariff policy, the importance of Georgia to Taiwan, and recent developments in cultural and educational exchanges.
We sincerely thank Georgia Asian Times for the invitation. We felt the strong influence and great potential of Georgia’s AAPI community and look forward to more inspiring connections! Cheers to AAPI!
