Team TECO in Denver witnessed the passing of the JR supporting Taiwan in the SD Legislature

The Joint Resolution in support of Taiwan was passed unanimously on 25th February, 2025 by both the Senate and the House of Representatives of the South Dakota Legislature. Director General Bill Huang and Team Taiwan in Denver were honored to witness its passage .
Director General Bill Huang also had the opportunity to speak to House Speaker Jon Hansen, Senate President Pro Tem Chris Kerr and the Majority Caucuses of both chambers respectively.
They exchanged views on how to better promote economic and education cooperation between United States and Taiwan, specifically with South Dakota. They also discussed issues related peace and security across the Taiwan Strait.
