President Lai presented Bishop Museum a model of a traditional fishing canoe used by the Yami (Tao) people of Taiwan's Lanyu (Orchid Island), which was handed over by Director General Jerry Chang to CEO Dee Jay Mailer. DG Chang and CEO Mailer also had a fruitful discussion on deepening the cultural exchanges of indigenous peoples between Taiwan and Hawaii.
