Vincent Hsu & Soy La Ley Afro-Cuban Jazz Band’s "Music for the River Jazz Suite: The Spirit of Love River & Mississippi River" Kicks Off Southern U.S. Tour!
The Southern U.S. tour features a special performance by Mr. Donald Harrison, the NEA Jazz Master and winner of the National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master Award. He joins the performance at the Asia Society Texas Center Performing Arts Theater in Houston, Texas.
Director General Yvonne Hsiao of the TECO in Houston attended the concert and praised the remarkable musical talent of Vincent’s jazz ensemble. She commended the group for skillfully blending the spirit of jazz improvisation with the swing style, breaking through cultural and musical boundaries to showcase Taiwan's unique musical identity.
