It is our pleasure to inform that 2010 Taipei International Sporting Goods Show will be held in Taipei at the Taipei World Trade Center NANGANG Exhibition Hall from April 29 – May 2, 2010. For more details, please refer to website:

You and/or others from your esteemed company are cordially invited to attend this show. The organizer - TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) provides incentives to encourage your participation. Qualification and Incentives are as follows.
Qualification
1. General Buyer:A minimum USD 1 million of annual sales in latest 3 years for the applicant’s company.
2. VIP Buyer : A minimum USD 5 million of annual sales in latest 3 years for the applicant’s company.
3. Indicative Buyer:
(1) The applicant’s company has world-renowned brand (ex. New Balance, Mizuno, Puma, Speedo…etc.) and is required to have specific purchasing items, whole day participation in the trade procurement meeting and procurement policies meeting.
(2) Buyers of Large Chain Distributors:
a. The company’s annual revenue and the number of chain stores is required to be the top three for local, and
b. The company is required to have minimum annual revenue of USD30,000,000 in any last 3 years, and
c. The company is required to have specific purchasing items, whole day participation in the trade procurement meeting and procurement policies meeting.
4. Buyers Group:
(1) TAITRA offers Buyers Group composed by at least 5 different companies related to the industries of the show.
(2) Each participating company should meet the requirement of USD 500,000 annual sales in any last 3 years.
(3) All group members should make their attendance of the show ground at the 1F main entrance Nangang Exhibition Hall of Jingmao 2nd Rd., Taipei at the same time. TAITRA will not subsidize the group members who do not make their attendance at the same time.
Incentives
TAITRA offers 4 types of subsidies to its qualified applicants:
1. General Buyer: 1 room (or health examination) with a maximum subsidy of NTD 15,000 to be used for lodging 【up to 4 nights during April 28 to May 2, 2010】, and airport pickup in the accommodating hotel.
2. VIP Buyer: Economy-Class round-trip Airfare or 1 room (or health examination) with a maximum subsidy of NTD 15,000 to be used for lodging【up to 4 nights during April 28 to May 2, 2010】, and airport pickup in the accommodating hotel.
3. Indicative Buyer : Round-trip Business-Class Airfare and 1 room with a maximum subsidy of NTD 15,000 to be used for lodging【up to 4 nights during April 28 to May 2, 2010】, and airport pickup in the accommodating hotel.
4. Buyers Group: A maximum subsidy of NTD 15,000 to each company that meets the qualification stated above. The group as a whole is subsidized to a limit of NTD240, 000 to be used for airline ticket, lodging (up to 4 nights during April 28 to May 2, 2010), and transportation in the accommodating hotel.
Expenses Claim
1. Airfare: Buyer should prepare the “Checking List for Airfare Expenses Reimbursement” and related documents to TAITRA to collect the payment. All documents must be provided within one month after the show.
2. Accommodation: TAITRA will reserve the official hotel for buyers. The hotel will collect it directly from TAITRA after the trade show.
