The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Department, in Patuxent River, Maryland, in support of PMA 264 P-8A Aircraft Platform, intends to negotiate an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-16-G-0001 on a sole source basis with The Boeing Company, 5301 Bolsa Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA 92647. The contract action is for the manufacturing of Acoustic Processor Media Unit for the P-8 Aircraft, quantity four (4), NSN 1680016433222, P/N 23503-512-11 to include labor, material, and facilities. The Boeing Company, as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), is the only known source with the requisite knowledge of the design, technical data, fabrication, performance and operational characteristics of the NRP (Non-consumable Replacement Part), Acoustic Processor Media capable of meeting existing P-8A aircraft requirements.
