Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA) thanked the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles (TECO-LA) for allowing him the opportunity to wish all Taiwanese a happy “Year of the Ox.”
Congressman Lieu, a true believer of Taiwan’s inclusion in more international organizations, applauded Taiwan’s response to COVID-19 and convinced stating that the world and the U.S. can learn much from Taiwan.
As a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Congressman Lieu supports the excellent relationship between Taiwan and the United States. He also pointed out that Taiwan is one of the largest trading partners of the United States, as well as California’s. Congressman Lieu wished everyone double happiness, peace and prosperity in 2021.
