Date and Time: May 18, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Venue: First Bank Activity Center (5210 W. Colonial Dr #100, Orlando, FL 32808).
Services:passport renewal, passport loss replacement, and document authentication (proof of residence, power of attorney, birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, diploma, etc.).
For those who wish to apply for passport renewal, document authentication, or a visa to Taiwan, please fill out the application form, prepare related documents in advance, and bring along a self-addressed return envelope when submitting on-site. Once the process is complete, we will mail the applicant the relevant documents in the return envelope.
For application forms, please download, print, and fill them out from our website in advance, and prepare all copies of required documents.
The applicant queue number card will be issued on the spot on the same day (first come, first served).
Processing time: 10-14 working days for documents, 6-8 weeks for passports with chips.
Fee description
- $45 for a 10-year validity passport with a chip.
- $31 for minors under the age of 14, men who have not fulfilled military service obligations, etc.
- Entry certificate: $5 for a passport for urgent return to Taiwan.
- Certificate of date of entry and exit: $4 each. If you are a dual citizen, you need to apply for one for each, accordingly.

Please pay the fee in cash or money order, payable to TECO in Miami. We do not accept personal checks or credit cards. If paying in cash, please prepare the correct amount, as it is difficult to provide change on the spot.
- Renewal of passports and replacement of lost passports:
- Completed Passport Application
- Submit physical passport (if not lost); if lost, the application for replacement must provide the original police report of the lost passport (photos or copies are not accepted).
- Two color photos taken in the last 6 months. For specifications, please refer to our website.
- Men who have not fulfilled their military service obligations must also submit the original enrollment verification/transcript issued by the school within the last 3 months.
- Birth certificate, marriage certificate, graduation certificate, and other document verification:
- Complete the application form for proof of documents.
- The original document issued by the state government or relevant authorities.
- Copy of the applicant's passport (please prepare the copy yourself, as there is no photocopying service on site).
- Applicants for translation authentication, please prepare the translation yourself in Traditional Mandarin Chinese and sign it in front of the consular staff.
- Power of attorney:
- Application form for document proof.
- Authorization letter.
- The original passport of the applicant. The applicant must sign in person in front of the consular staff.
Return envelope: The applicant is requested to prepare a mail or express mail envelope with prepaid postage in advance, write down the name and address of the recipient, and submit it on the spot.
