Taiwan has suspended the acceptance of tourist visa applications from Sri Lankan nationals

Effective immediately, Taiwan no longer accepts tourist visa applications from Sri Lankan nationals.
Sri Lankan passport holders may still apply for visitor visas for other qualifying purposes. A letter of guarantee must be provided by a guarantor in Taiwan (ROC), who must be a Taiwan (ROC) national ID card holder. The said letter of guarantee must be authenticated by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, branch offices of MOFA, or Taiwan (ROC) overseas missions. Visa applications must be submitted to only the Taipei Representative Office in Republic of Singapore and Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in Chennai.
