The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) announced the 2023 Mosaic Taiwan Fellowship Program recently. The exchange program provides US and Canadian students and professionals a wonderful opportunity to explore Taiwan from June 19 through June 30, 2023. Fellows will take part in team-building and leadership development exercises, as well as workshops, forums, and lectures on topics concerning Taiwan. There will also be visits to business and NGOs, as well as tours of scenic sites around the island. In addition, fellows will meet with government officials and some of their peers for wide-ranging discussions. Travel and living arrangements in Taiwan will be covered by the sponsor.
Please note: The fellowship recipient once agrees to accept the award to join the program, full participation is required for the participants of the program.
Eligibility
- U.S. and Canadian citizens, ages 20-35.
- No previous travel sponsored by the R.O.C. government to Taiwan.
- Active interest in public affairs, politics, government, and international affairs.
Application
- The application form (and its attachments) will be accepted from February 1 to February 28, 2023, by the foreign offices of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in the U.S. and Canada (TECRO or TECO).
- Interviews will be conducted by TECRO or TECO. Successful applicants will be informed by their respective interviewing TECRO or TECO

♦ Academic transcript
♦ Essay
♦ Award certificate(s) (if any)
♦ A medical certificate will be required of successful applicants
The finalists will be announced by early April.
