To authenticate National Police Certificate issued by the Queensland or Northern Territory Police, please refer to the following requirements and submit your application in person or by post.
Requirements:
- Applicant (and representative, if any) must complete and sign Application Form for Authentication (original).
- Original hardcopy National Police Certificate issued by the Queensland or Northern Territory Police.
- Your (and your representative, if any) valid passport (s). R.O.C citizens must provide R.O.C. passport or National ID. For applications by post, please enclose a photocopy of your passport instead.
- Collection: Collect in person or provide a prepaid self-addressed Registered Post or Express Post return envelope for the return of the authenticated documents.
- Authentication Fee:
- AU$22 per document for 5 business days standard application; or
- AU$33 per document for 1 business day urgent application.
Payment Method:
- Lodge in person: cash only.
- Postal applications: Money Order or Bank Cheque payable to the "Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Brisbane". (Personal cheque will not be accepted.)
Please note:
- The National Police Certificate should show your full name and matches your name on your valid passport.
- Some authorities in Taiwan may require an authenticated Chinese translation alongside the original National Police Certificate. Please check with the relative authorities in Taiwan (places where this certificate will be used) for confirmation. If required, the translation has to be in Traditional Chinese and can be done either in Taiwan or in Australia. The authentication fee for Chinese Translated document is AU$22 per document.
