The President of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Australia, Michael Wu, led a team to organize the stunning ILHA FORMOSA of the Sydney Taiwan Food Festival at the city’s premier Perfecture48 .
Director General David Cheng-Wei Wu and Mrs. Wu were invited to attend. In his speech, DG Wu specifically mentioned Taiwan’s national baseball team, which had just defeated the strong Japanese team to win the World Baseball Premier 12 Global Championship.
He noted that throughout the game, we witnessed not only Taiwan’s diverse resilience but also Japan’s mastery of craftsmanship. The festival, held at a Japanese-style restaurant, showcased Taiwan’s culinary arts and culture, which reflected the spirit conveyed by the championship match.
