The Cape Town Chinese School continued its cultural promotion initiative, which began in April, by visiting nearby mainstream schools to promote Chinese language education. On September 11th, they held two Taiwanese folk culture workshops at Kronendal Primary School in Hout Bay, which were warmly received by both teachers and students.
The workshops began with a Taiwanese glove puppet show, followed by various cultural activities such as calligraphy, Chinese knotting, diabolo spinning, origami, and sandbag games, led by different instructors. Notably, the event brought together Chinese language teachers from the Cape Town Chinese School, local cultural educators, parents, and students to jointly promote Taiwan's rich folk culture.
