Taiwan is endeavoring to join the World Health Assembly (WHA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) Pandemic Agreement from May 27th to June 1st. Taiwan has tirelessly been committed to the rights to healthcare and has therefore been annually ranked number one worldwide by NUMBEO on the Health Care Index since 2018.
The Indonesian community of more than 350,000 individuals, consisting of different ages and occupations, benefits from the high-quality healthcare system while they live in Taiwan. All Indonesians living in Taiwan are close friends and relatives of the Taiwanese people, thus Taiwan is pleased to provide accessible and affordable healthcare to them as they embark on a new journey in their ‘second home’.
Taiwan’s “one country, one medical center” policy designates the leading National Taiwan University Hospital to cooperate with Indonesia. This hospital works together with the Indonesian health institutions or agencies to achieve common grounds in healthcare. “Health for All, Taiwan Can Help” is more than a slogan as Taiwan has been working energetically to fulfill this goal.
Please show your generous support to Taiwan’s endeavor for joining the WHA/WHO with the hashtag #TaiwanCanHelp and #MySecondHome.
