The Taipei Economic and Trade Office (TETO) in Surabaya is an official office that has been established by the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in the second largest city of Indonesia, Surabaya. The mission of TETO in Surabaya aims at promoting bilateral relations in various fields, such as business, education, culture, and tourism between Taiwan and eastern Indonesia. Its main functions include issuing visas and other consular affairs, providing the expatriate services, and emergency relief for Taiwan citizen who is traveling in the eastern Indonesia area.
Both Taiwan and Indonesia governments agreed to set up this office in Surabaya. It was inaugurated on December 18, 2015.
