Taiwan Tourism Brand International Promotional Video Unveils
Tourism Administration Deputy Director-General Chou, Ting-Chang noted that the video represents a major milestone for Taiwan’s international tourism efforts, and added that it is aligned with an increased post-pandemic demand for sustainable, eco-friendly, and tech-integrated travel experiences. The video captures iconic destinations such as the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, Kinmen, Penghu, and the Taitung Moonlight and Ocean Music Festival, creating an emotional resonance and inspiring global viewers to experience Taiwan firsthand. The Taiwan Tourism Administration will continue to employ innovative strategies to attract global visitors, offering them high-quality travel experiences.
The video was directed by Andrew S.T. Gregg and produced by Taiwan Dentsu's creative team. It uses advanced cinematography and storytelling to bring to life Taiwan’s breathtaking mountain and sea vistas, seasonal celebrations, and cultural diversity. Gregg emphasized that he sought to portray Taiwan from a foreign visitor's perspective. He added that the time he had spent exploring Taiwan’s landscapes and indigenous cultures had left him awed by the island’s beauty and energy.
The Tourism Administration announced that the new promotional video will premiere on major media channels in Europe and the United States, followed by global social media and online releases. Thus, Taiwan’s many charms will be continuously showcased through the captivating visuals.
