In order to understand the contribution of Taiwanese companies to Indian economy, employment and social stability, Director-General of TECC in Chennai Charles Li accompanied three Members of Assembly in Tamil Nadu, Dr. R. Nataraj, V. N. Ravi and K. Mohan to visit Fen Tay Enterprises Co. Ltd at Cheyyar SEZ on Thursday July 19th, 2018. The delegation was warmly received by Director Lau Wai Kai, General Manager Arul Sambandam, Deputy General Manager Deepalaksmi and many others.

The MLAs were much impressed with the delicate work in the production line, the production effectiveness of teamwork and the dedication of the employees, and besides, they were even surprised at the fact that one pair of high-end sport shoes is manufactured in every 9 seconds. They all acclaimed the achievements Feng Tay's Corporate Social Responsibility programs have resulted in through years of implementation. Currently there are more than 860 female employees studying for a bachelor degree, while over 120 of them will continue to study for MBA degree. The delegates firmly believe Feng Tay is the CSR role model of its kind for foreign companies in India.
