Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia Was Invited to Share Information of Taiwan’s Education System

On August 29th, Lin Wei Te, Director of the Overseas Compatriot Division and Charlin Chang, Director of the Education Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia were invited to attend a webinar held by the Ming Lik Secondary School, Sarikei, Sarawak. The talk was organized by the school and the Federation Of the Sarikei Division, Chinese Associations, Sarawak to share the information of further studying in Taiwan.Director Lin first introduced the information and important notes of further studying in Taiwan as an overseas Chinese student while Director Charlin introduced the trend of the higher education system in Taiwan as well as the competitiveness in the local society. They mentioned that the complete and excellent learning environment in Taiwan’s universities will be a good milestone in the students’ learning journey and career path.The online talk received good responses from participants of all backgrounds, including the school’s director, headmaster, teachers, students, and parents. Through the interactive live stream session, the participants not only obtained useful information but also managed to raised inquiries during the talk.
