Visa Requirements to Enter Taiwan

A) Passport Holders of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Czeh Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungry, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K., U.S.A.: (If the applicants are going to stay less than 30 days in Taiwan, they can enter without visa )
B) Passport Holders of K.S.A., GCC Countries, Jordan, Lebanon, India, Philippines, Egypt ,Yemen, Sudan, Libya:
- Passport valid more than 6 months from the date of entering Taiwan
- Passport copy and fill up completely visa application form which can be downloaded from www.boca.gov.tw.
- Two colored passport size photographs with white background
- No Objection Certificate issued by the Employer
- Invitation letter from Taiwan
C) Passport Holders of Afghanistan, Algeria, Bhutan, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Somalia, Laos excluding Nigeria, Myanmar, Nepal, Ghana, India Traveling Permit:
- Passport copy and fill up completely visa application form which can be downloaded from www.boca.gov.tw.
- Passport valid more than 6 months from the date of entering Taiwan
- Two colored passport size photographs with white background
- No Objection Certificate issued by the Employer
- Invitation letter from Taiwan
Visa Fee
- Visitor visa /Single : OMR 19.000 (3 working days); Urgent OMR 28.500 (next day)
- Visitor visa/Multiple: OMR 38.000; Urgent OMR 57.000
- Resident visa/ Single: OMR 25.000; Urgent OMR 37.500
- Resident Visa/Multiple OMR 50.000; Urgent OMR 75.000
- The USA passport holders who wish to stay more than 30 days : OMR 53.500
Submitting application: 8:30 A.M.-12:30 noon, Saturday through Wednesday.
Receiving documents: 14:00 P.M.-17:30 P.M., Saturday through Wednesday.
This Office is closed on Thursday and Friday.
Note: All the applications should be submitted personally, those sent by mail won't be entertained. Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Muscat remains the rights to decline any visa application without disclosing any reason.
