Oman is a peaceful, tranquil, and safe country, one that is very safe for Taiwanese travelers.
As for tourism, adventure sports sit at the top of the agenda in Oman. The waters around Oman teem with life renowned for its diversity and vivid colors. Water activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, and dolphin watching are very popular among tourists from Europe and Asia. There are lots of beautiful beaches in this country, some of which are where hundred-year-old sea turtles lead their hatchlings. It’s an amazing phenomenon to witness. Plus you can go dune bashing in the desert, or go hiking in the wadis ( dried valley)—the perfect way to see the countryside.
As for culture, stepping into Oman is a completely different experience. Over here, Omani men wear dishdashas or similar male outfits, and women wear black abayas. Yet behind these, they are no different than you and me. They too have hopes and dreams, go shopping, take rides in the countryside, and visit family and friends.
