Eligibility & Requirements
To help you prepare, please review the educational and professional requirements categorized below:
I. Education & Experience
- Category 1: Directly Eligible (No additional skill qualifications required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Major*.
- Associate Degree in a Related Major* (obtained in Taiwan).
- Category 2: Additional Skills Required (Must fulfill at least one "Additional Skill Qualification" listed below)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Non-Related Major.
- Associate Degree in a Related Major* (obtained outside Taiwan).
- Associate Degree in a Non-Related Major.
- High School Diploma (Note: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is mandatory for this group).
Additional Skill Qualifications (Choose one):
- 2+ years of work experience or internship in an international chain hotel.
- 6+ months of hospitality internship in Taiwan (within the last 3 years).
- "Hotel Guest Room Service" Level C Technician Certificate (issued by MOL, Taiwan).
- [To be announced] 40+ hours of designated overseas training in hotel services.
- [To be announced] Passing designated overseas skill competency tests.
*Related Majors: Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Tourism, or Sports and Leisure.
II. Language Proficiency
Applicants must provide a certificate for CEFR A2 level or above (Listening or Speaking) in either Mandarin or English.
EXEMPTION: No certificate is required for:
- Holders of a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) AND a passport from an English-speaking country.
- Applicants who have completed a 6-month hospitality internship in Taiwan within the last 3 years (Recognition Letter required).
⚠️ Note: To ensure smooth workplace communication, applicants who do not provide a Mandarin A2 certificate upon entry will be required to obtain it within their 3-year employment period.
