1. The documents include letter of authorization (power of attorney), business correspondences, no criminal record, marriage, identity, birth, decease, degree, school attendance, translation verification etc. The authentication fee for each document is SR60.
2. Requirements for Document Authentication:
(a) the application form of authentication.
(b) the original and copy of applicant's identity certificate.
(c) the documents to be authenticated should be notarized by the Saudi authority first.
(d) explanation of the purpose of the authenticated documents.
(e) others supporting documents deemed necessary by this Office.
3. Specific Notes:
(a) The applicant should present his identity certificate such as passport, ID card. If the application is filed by an agent, a power of attorney authenticated by a notary public or the appropriate authorities must be attached, together with the original of the agent's identity certificate and copy of the applicant's identity certificate.
(b) If the documents to be authenticated are not issued by the Saudi government, then prior attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Saudi embassy of the issuing country, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of KSA should be completed.
(c) Since June 1, 2007, the authentication of Single Status Certificate should be accompanied with other documents and interview.
