The Taipei Representative Office in Singapore (TRO) has unveiled the latest English edition of “Taiwan and the Global Semiconductor Supply Chain: Japan’s Semiconductor Industry”.

The June/July 2024 report features (1) the current status of Japan’s semiconductor industry, (2) Japan’s semiconductor strategy and policies to attract both domestic and international semiconductor companies, (3) the pivotal role of Taiwan’s semiconductor companies, particularly TSMC, in revitalizing Japan’s semiconductor industry and spurring its economic growth, (4) statistics on Taiwan’s IC manufacturing and design industry, and (5) videos by TaiwanPlus, Taiwan’s premier English-language international media platform on (i) India’s new investments in the semiconductor industry, and (ii) TSMC’s global expansion amidst semiconductor competition .
