Taiwan Scholarship for Semiconductor Talent Development
分享到
Semiconductors are a strategic cornerstone of the global economy, forming the backbone of critical industries including artificial intelligence, advanced computing, electric vehicles, and defense systems. Taiwan plays an indispensable role in this ecosystem, accounting for more than 78% of the global semiconductor foundry market and serving as a central node in the world’s digital infrastructure and technology supply chains.
The handbook “Study Semiconductor in Taiwan” compiled by our Office introduces semiconductor-focused institutes at nine leading Taiwanese universities, all of which offer English-taught programs in semiconductor-related fields. These programs place a strong emphasis on hands-on training, cutting-edge research facilities, and close collaboration with industry, equipping students with both theoretical foundations and practical expertise.
To foster the development of global semiconductor talent, the Taiwan Scholarship administered by the Office will accord priority consideration to applicants enrolling in semiconductor-related programs. Students from Singapore are warmly encouraged to apply and to engage with Taiwan’s world-class semiconductor ecosystem.
