Representative Francis Liang Visits Fo Guang Shan (Singapore)

On 3 August 2017, Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang and officials from the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore were hosted by Fo Guang Shan (Singapore)’s Abbot, Master Venerable Miao Mu, to a visit of the monastery.
During the visit, Master Venerable Miao Mu briefed Representative Liang and accompanying officials on Fo Guang Shan (Singapore)’s history and its activities to promote Buddhist education, art and culture. Representative Liang praised Fo Guang Shan (Singapore) as an uplifting example of Buddhist architecture and thought, and expressed his admiration for the monastery’s efforts to engage its devotees and the wider community.
