The Taiwanese Association of Thailand held singing competitions in 2019 and 2021 respectively, and received enthusiastic participation from all walks of life in Thailand and Taiwan.
This year, under the guidance of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, Taiwan Ministry of Culture, The Overseas Community Affairs Council, Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Samut Prakan Provincial Cultural Office, Taiwanese Association of Thailand continue to promote Taiwan's pop music culture and hold the 2023 Taiwan Pop Music Singing Competition. The competition will be conducted in the form of preliminary rounds, semi-finals and finals. The finals will be held in cooperation with Chulalongkorn University. The contestants will perform with the Chulalongkorn University Symphony Orchestra in the University’s Music Hall.
There are a lot of prizes in this competition, including the first prize of up to 100,000 Baht bonus and a China Airlines Bangkok-Taipei round-trip economy class ticket; the prizes of the second and third place are 50,000 Baht and 30,000 Baht; In addition, another 5 excellent contestants will be selected, and they will receive prizes such as Olympia Star boutique watch and high-end ukulele.
