Solo exhibition《Reverse Meditation》by Taiwan artist Yu-Pei Kuo

Taiwanese artist and curator Yu-Pei Kuo is selected for the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) People’s Gallery exhibition project. Her solo exhibition “Reverse Meditation” is ongoing from now till May 4, 2025 at 2nd floor of BACC. In this exhibition, she uses daily photography as a starting point, combining digital processing with hand-weaving techniques to launch a visual experiment that integrates sensory and spiritual levels.
The People’s Gallery project at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center was launched in 2012. Various artists are introduced to present high-level creations here through the public application and competitive selection. According to Kuo, she is one of the few foreign artists selected in recent years. Kuo engages in art creations in both Taiwan and Thailand for a long time. She transforms her personal life experience, cultural experience, inner conflicts and cross-cultural observations into the core vocabulary of her creations.
